Imagine a film that combines elements from Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Twilight, Divergent, and maybe a little bit of Lizzy McGuire. Would all of that be too much for one cohesive story? Yes. Certainly yes. It's with no pun intended when said that this movie sucks! It's 2014's Vampire Academy starring Season of the Witch's own Claire Foy and the Weekly Watch Wheel crew are enrolled for one hell of an experience!

On this week's episode, Shanley has spun an elaborate category, 'The One Where We Actually Roll the Dice'. This category requires that the spinner roll a die and the number that is rolled determines the number of degrees of separation from the last movie we watched. Shanley rolled a one. This means that she has to select a movie that has a person in its cast or crew that worked on Season of the Witch (2011). With greats like Nicolas Cage, Ron Pearlman, Christopher Lee, and others, we are sure to have a diverse list of nominees. The question is, do we want to watch any of them?!

Where does Nicolas Cage's Filmography and Period Pieces intersect? At 2011's oddity Season of the Witch. This film's story arc is absolutely baffling. Over the course of this narrative the Weekly Watch Wheel crew foresaw a half-dozen better conclusions but were unable to predict where this movie lands. On this week's episode, Matt and Jimi struggle to maintain focus on such a strange movie, while Shanley struggles to maintain consciousness!

Full of gumbo and hurricane cocktails, the hosts bring a messy vibe of lethargy as well as distraction. This episode was a lot of fun, and you won't believe what movie was chosen!

Imagine, if you will, you're living in 1996, 2pac has died but at least Michael Bay is making a grounded action movie about domestic terrorists taking over the island of Alcatraz (for some reason). If that appeals to you, you won't believe what we have in store for you this week! This classic 90's action movie has a great cast including Nicolas Cage, Sean Connery, and a bunch of people you've seen in other movies! Travel with the crew to the year 1999 where jeans were baggy and plastic was tinted and translucent. Matt chose MTV Studios' Varsity Blues, a film about sex, drugs, and footy footy football. Starring James Van Der Beek, Paul Walker, and John Voight, this film mixes the mischief of teens with deep dramatic elements. Also, Matt apparently 'wanted to tap it', whatever that means!
