Ep. 15 - Thomas and Taylor‘s Recommendation

This week we had a list of recommendations from Jimi's 'actual best friends', Thomas and Taylor. Thomas and Taylor's speciality is a combination of uplifting sports dramas and B grade scifi/horror movies. Tune in to hear Matt sifting through this truly bizarre list of 'classdic' movies that Jimi's friends sent out just 'off the domb'. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Jimi has sentenced us to an evening watching 2005's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, directed by one Tim Burton. We, the Weekly Watch Wheel crew are like three kids in a candy store picking and choosing what aspects of this movie were to our taste and which weren't. Spoiler alert, most aspects were not to our liking. Notwithstanding, it was a fun time chalking through this BADaptation. Won't you join us?!

Ep. 14 - BADaptation

Have you ever had a beloved book or tv show be adapted into a feature film only to be done so poorly that it breaks your heart?! Jimi has. He's had this happen time and time again. But on this week's episode, Jimi decides to reopen those wounds and nominate BADaptations like Artemis Fowl (2020), The Vampire's Assistant (2009), and quite a few others. 

Triangle

This week Shanley chose a nautical neurotic thriller --Triangle (2009). This movie left us as dumbfounded as the creators most likely intended. In this week's episode we dive into its depths and pose our own theories and explanations to the mystic form that is Triangle!

Ep. 13 - Boats.

It's an adventure on the high seas as Shanley (our skipper) selects this week's movie for our new 'Boats.' category. We'll navigate torrential dramas like Poseidon (2006) and traverse the haunted waters of the horror genre with Ghost Ship (2002). Will this week's selection be more than our friend-SHIP can take?!
